Congregation Etz Chayim has many rooms of various shapes and sizes that are available to rent to our congregants and the public.

Whether you are trying to find the perfect venue for a lecture or concert, planning a wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah, organizing a meeting or class, or setting up a conference, Etz Chayim can accommodate you and your event.

Our congregation invites gatherings of all sizes to reserve our social hall, library, classrooms, kitchen and gardens. Our renovated facility offers a state-of-the-art sound system, wifi, ample free parking, a kasherable kitchen, and a lush garden area. 

Our facility includes seven classrooms that are ideal for smaller gatherings or classes. Indoor and outdoor accommodations are available for 10 to 300 guests to attend:

Our central location in the mid-peninsula provides us with easy access to highway 101. We are located 20 minutes from both the San Francisco and San Jose airports and a half hour from Oakland International.

We have special rates for non-profit groups. 

The building has been rented for parties, classes, meetings, and camps. 

Our social hall holds a maximum of 250 people for a sit down meal and 220 people for a dance party. We can provide rectangular and round tables, as well as chairs. You can even spill out onto the outdoor patio which is included in the social hall rental. 

The library, Double Tree room, classrooms, and outside patio are also available for stand-alone rentals if you need space for a meeting, luncheon, or workshop/class for a one time event or an ongoing activity. The building can accommodate a conference or seminar, using several rooms simultaneously as break-out rooms.

When you rent space at Congregation Etz Chayim, you will have the use of our kitchen to refrigerate, prepare, heat, and plate your food, whether it is a formal sit down meal, beverages with snacks, or anything in between. There are ovens, coffee and hot water urns, a microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a limited selection of serving platters and utensils at your disposal or for use by your licensed caterer. (Renters are expected to follow the congregational food guidelines available from the office.)
